POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for assisting the Logistics Department and Production.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Communicate with the Sales & the Plant Manger to define target by work cell.

· Plan production work based on customer demand to meet financial targets.

· Create the production build schedule in a sequence oldest to newest.

· Daily production must be scheduled to be ran in order to allow logistics to build truck loads by dealer.

· Facilitate parts orders with logistics.

· Coordinate warranty / red tag repairs

· Coordinate with logistics manager to ensure schedules have considered shipping needs.

· Ensure that the quantity and specification of products are correct.

· Trouble shoot issues with Production Managers, identifies problem areas and provide solutions.

· Ensures a positive work environment that is clean, organized, and respectful.

· Works safely by following all safety policies and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or equivalent with some manufacturing experience preferred. Post-secondary education in business or related field preferred but not required

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

This job operates in an office environment (75%) and is largely sedentary. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical requirements within the production or warehouse environment (25%) include:

· Standing – up to 80%

· Walking – up to 80%

· Bending – up to 5%

· Climbing – approximately 5%

· Crouching – up to 5%

· Kneeling – up to 5%

· Sight with ability to distinguish color

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
