Chamber Accepting Board Applications
Applications for the 2011 Board of Directors are being accepted in August. The Board of Directors is the policymaking body for the Chamber. The Board controls its property, is responsible for its finances and directs its affairs. Board members should have participated in chamber work and should support the goals of the organization. A Board member should be willing and able to devote the time required for the job; should be able to work constructively with staff, committees and other Board members; should have a background that provides sound judgment in considering problems and policies; and should have the respect of associates which will give leadership to the organization and inspire others to respond. Take this opportunity to help shape the Chamber by offering your skills and expertise.
