The Beautification Committee of the DeLand Area
Chamber of Commerce was proud to present the March Beautification
Award to Stepp Office Supply located at 300 N. Amelia who recently
repainted the outside of the building and put on a new roof.
About Stepp
In 1972, Jim Stepp left the corporate world to open a business
with his son, David, in his adopted hometown of DeLand. He chose
the office supply business because he figured everyone would
always need pencils. Being the community minded person he was,
his first check was to the DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce to
become a member. From 1972 to 1985 Stepp’s was located
where Ray Long’s Personal Best Gym is presently located
at 235 N. Amelia Ave., and in 1985 Jim and David built and moved
into their present location on the corner of N. Amelia and Wisconsin
Avenues.
In 1977, Jim retired leaving Stepp Office Supply
in the hands of his son David and his wife Debbie. They sell
Office Supplies, Computer and Inkjet Supplies, Legal Forms,
Office Furniture, Systems Furniture, Rubber Stamps, Business
Cases and much more! In addition to this, they also ship UPS
and have a FAX/Copy Service for their customers.
