     “Best Places to Work in Volusia & Flagler”


    The Daytona Beach News-Journal is accepting registrations from local businesses for The Best Places to Work in Volusia & Flagler Counties’ If you would like your business to be considered as one of The Best Places to Work in Volusia or Flagler County we ask that you register your business by visiting www.bestplacestoworkvf.com.


    The Daytona Beach News-Journal has partnered with Best Companies Group which is an independent research firm specializing in identifying and recognizing great places to work.  BCG manages such programs worldwide including US, Canada and the UK.  By participating is this program you can find out if you are one of the state’s best employers.  And get valuable information about your company.  Each employer will complete an online survey, detailing company policies, practices, benefits and demographics.  Employees will then complete survey using a scale of 5 points.  The survey also includes 7 demographic and 2 open-ended questions.  The survey can be given online and in print of a complete email list is not available.


    If you are selected as one of the Best Companies it can result in a boost of company moral and retention.  You can use the distinction in marketing to enhance recruiting efforts, general marketing and possibly improve your reputation.  Lastly, while the participation is FREE you can pay a nominal fee to receive your Employee Feedback Report which details your employee responses.


    Any local business is eligible to participate, guidelines include:

    ·       Must have a business facility within Volusia or Flagler County.   

    ·       Be a for-profit or not-for-profit or government entity.

    ·       Be a publicly or privately held business

    ·       Have a minimum of 15 employees working within Volusia or county.

    ·       Be in business for a minimum of 1 year. 


    The Daytona Beach News-Journal will contact each company of their status prior to the release of the winner rankings in September 2018.  Non-winning companies are not publicly revealed.
