Three Jewish widows meet once a month for tea before going to visit their husbands' graves. Ida is sweet tempered and ready to begin a new life. Lucille is a feisty embodiment of the girl who just wants to have fun. Doris is priggish and judgmental, particularly when Sam the butcher enters the scene. Doris and Lucille squash the budding romance between Sam and Ida but are guilt stricken when this nearly breaks Ida’s heart. This is a heart-warming tale of true friendship and the constant struggle for love. A truly funny play directed by Shelley Ackman. This show runs Jan. 4 through the 14th, with Thurs, Fri and Sat. at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:30pm. Thursday shows are BOGO and all tickets are available online and at Box Office.
