Have a BLAST at DeLand’s Firecracker Festival! Announcing FREE Concert & Fireworks!
The City of DeLand will celebrate Independence Day a few days early this year! Saturday, July 2nd come join the celebration at Earl Brown Park for a family friendly festival on the beautiful Amphitheater lawn. The City of DeLand Firecracker Festival and fireworks display will include live music from popular, local and national entertainers. The event will offer an unmatched, patriotic fireworks display, BBQ and Food Trucks, the very popular Key Lime Pie eating contest along with a great a Kids Zone full of games and activities. The event is hosted by the City of DeLand and powered by Daytona Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram & FIAT, and presented by 93.1 Coast Country and Brighthouse Networks.
Admission to the 2016 City of DeLand Firecracker Festival is free and the festivities begin at 5:00PM. 93.1 Coast Country personality Dallas Reese will start the entertainment at 5:30PM with his lively piano and vocals. Headliner, Nashville Recording Artist Joel Crouse will hit the stage at 7:30PM. Crouse opened on Taylor Swift’s RED Tour, and has opened shows for The Band Perry, Darius Rucker, & the Goo Goo Dolls. The fireworks display will take place at approximately 9:15 PM. The concert is lawn seating, guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for the show.

Last year Earl Brown Park was full of activities, music and fireworks celebrating our county’s Independence” said City of DeLand Parks & Recreation Director, Rick Hall. “It’s always great to see the community come together and celebrate in our parks.”
