‘Tis the Season to Shop Fa La La La LOCAL
 
‘Twas the end of a year like no other we remember,
It was time to spread joy from member to member.
 
The Chamber elves were meeting and strategically made a plan,
On how to bring prosperity to all West Volusia, and certainly DeLand.
 
The Special Events Committee gathered prizes and other tasks,
While the Chamber Elves provided scissors, ribbon and PPE masks.
 
Starting on Black Friday and for the next 21 days,
We hoped to usher in the new year in the very best of ways.
 
From member to member we would encourage each to stop,
To do business with one another and shop, shop, shop.
 
From retail, services, non-profit and home-based,
Your fellow members will thank you for being lovingly embraced.
 
On December 17^th, bring your receipts to the hub,
Check in at our valued member, The Blind Pig Pub.
 
Your Chamber Elves will be there to welcome everyone,
Each receipt is an entry to win prizes – how fun!
 
Enjoy seeing friends and strolling downtown,
From 5-7 pm, stop in – then walk around.
 
Drawings will be at 7 – we will call if you win.
Keep on dining, shopping and visiting with a friend.
 
The spirit of the season your actions have made vocal,
By supporting your community and keeping it LOCAL.
