Mission: To maintain personal
member contact to determine needs and expectations; to refer
concerns to appropriate action committees; to enhance delivery
of services to members; and to provide other services aimed
at improving membership retention.
Assignments: Assist with
grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremonies at member businesses;
attend New Member Receptions, Business After Hours and other
special Chamber events and programs; and survey members regularly
through personal visits.

with monthly Beautification Awards and letters of commendation.

Meeting: To plan and produce the annual meeting and installation
banquet; to provide for the formal installation of officers,
directors and committee leaders and to recognize retiring leaders.
Special Events: To develop
and implement programs of interest to the community resulting
in positive exposure for Chamber members through special events
while raising funds for Chamber programs.
Assignments: Plan and coordinate
the Chamber's Annual Meeting & Installation Banquet. A new
task force should be named by July, 2004 to begin planning for
the Year 2005 Annual Meeting.
Plan and coordinate special events for the Chamber.

To examine and influence the outcome of legislative issues at
all levels of government to promote and protect the interests
of the business community.
Assignments: Study state
and local legislative issues to develop recommendations for
Board consideration; meet with elected and appointed government
officials; co-sponsor bi-annual Candidates Hob Nob; interview
candidates for local, state and federal offices; and coordinate
visits to Tallahassee.
Meets 2nd and 4th Thursdays of
every Month at 12:00 noon.
